Meet Simona Elsayed Activity Specialist at Better Education Foundation. Simona  is currently a Human Biology major pursuing a B.S. from the City University of New York, Hunter College.

She’s passionate about joining BEF because women of all races, cultures, and ethnicities must be educated in health sciences and feel supported to learn and grow. As an Arab-American, she’s motivated to continue to learn and share her knowledge with women who may be subjected to incorrect medical information and treatment.

Elsayed’s interest in science stemmed from a young age and blossomed into an appreciation to understand her body and the world around her. Although she’s still navigating what’s next in her future, she knows the consistent theme of this journey is to support who she can along the way.
